Service and Organisational Development
Over the summer 2009/2010 Ardent Training & Consultancy developed and managed a 26 day respite service for a young man with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Over this period, we developed support and service plans to enable a smooth transition to his permanent service provider.
Occasionally staff teams need to refresh and refocus. We can offer intensive staff development to give services a boost that will enable them to move to the next level. Similarly, we can develop new services so they begin with a strong and positive culture focused on being of service to the people being supported. This may include creating structure in the service or protocol development. We can also renew existing services and work with the team and/or manager to revitalise or improve on what exists. Ardent Training & Consultancy has demonstrated skills in making specialist plans useable for support workers enabling a significantly greater chance of success. These programmes are developed in consultation with the organisation to best meet their needs, timeframes and budgets. Whether a one-off piece of training or intensive on the job coaching, our core belief is that any piece of work we do should increase quality of services for people with a disability. |
